January 2009 - The view from the slow moving train is not always that beautiful. Here, food stalls 'decorate' the direct environment of the tracks, not always the safest sollution for sure. In the direction of Tanah Abang station it is clearly visible that this is one of the poorer areas of Jakarta. Urbanization here has lead to an almost impenetrable maze of residential areas.
