President Yudhoyono brings a short visit to Yogyakarta
16 December 2008Jalan Ahmad Yani, south of Jalan Malioboro is closed and guarded by police. In the remote distance a faint Mount Merapi volcano. President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his wife Ani Bambang Yudhoyono brought a short visit to the city of Yogyakarta today. There he officially opened Taman Pintar at the end of the afternoon after he walked down from the palace to the location, greeted by thousands of enthousiast children. Eventually the President left the location by car only to go back to the palace. Probably a dinner was waiting for him and his wife there.
