July 2008 - At the waterside in the harbour there is a shed with a tide gauge which sends information directly to a government agency in Bogor, western Java. The quiet small harbour of Sadeng in a small inlet in the southeastern corner of Yogyakarta province, in central Java, is a perfect place to enjoy tranquility. From Yogyakarta it is not more than a day trip, while the town of Pacitan is nearby as well.
