July 2008 - A view from between the broken rock formation where you can only stand at low tide if you don't want to get wet. Almost the entire inlet can be seen in one picture here, with just a small shed with some measuring equipment in the distance. The quiet to deserted white beaches in the southeastern corner of Yogyakarta province, in central Java, are a perfect place to enjoy tranquility. From Yogyakarta it is not more than a day trip, while the town of Pacitan is nearby as well.
