About this picture
June 2008 - Eventually I left through the front door. The only train of that day had already departed, the next one is scheduled to arrive tomorrow afternoon. The train station at the end of the line that connects Purworejo and a dozen small towns with the city of Yogyakarta still contains the atmosphere of decades ago. A place where time has stood still ever since the railroad tracks were laid and the station was built.
