June 2008 - The old manual switches on the route have been replaced by mechanical one for the most part, but here the trains are serviced by hand. The train station at the end of the line that connects Purworejo and a dozen small towns with the city of Yogyakarta still contains the atmosphere of decades ago. A place where time has stood still ever since the railroad tracks were laid and the station was built.
