About this picture
June 2008 - Near train staitions there are often buildings to house the former employees of the Netherlands Indies railroad company. This is one of the well-maintained houses across the street. The train station at the end of the line that connects Purworejo and a dozen small towns with the city of Yogyakarta still contains the atmosphere of decades ago. A place where time has stood still ever since the railroad tracks were laid and the station was built.
