When the battle about you as passenger heats up further the recruiters will go to any length to get you on their bus. Most likely there are efforts being undertaken to get your luggage, customer service? Not at all, but is does help getting new customers though! A picture taken at the Leuwi Panjang bus terminal in Bandung, western Java. With every bus station comes about the same environment of dozens of dirty airconditioned buses, dozens of so-called calo (passenger recruiters) that will give you an headache and hundreds of other passengers which all have
to go through the same process of selecting one of the many buses to their destination. However it can look somewhat violent or disrespectful, it has become a way of life in many places in Indonesia.
