Pealing the rice

About this picture
April 2008 - After the bags are put on a scale, the rice is processed for the first time; it is pealed of it's husk. Day trips to rice fields during harvests by publisher Kanisius are organized three times per year. The day trips are held at one of their estates in the village of Turi, north of Yogyakarta city.
