About this picture
April 2008 - Directly after the plants have been cut off, they are processed; the grains are separated from the plants by gently hitting them on a wooden board. Day trips to rice fields during harvests by publisher Kanisius are organized three times per year. The day trips are held at one of their estates in the village of Turi, north of Yogyakarta city.
