About this picture
19 May 2007 - The southern beaches of many islands at the southern edge of the Indonesian archipelago are known for their dangerous currents near the beach. Swiming therefore is dangerous. These big waves however don't make it more safe of course. However the waves are less high than yesterday, they still easily reached the place where there used to be a parking lot on the beach of Parangtritis in the province of Yogyakarta, Central Java.
