25 December 2006Near where a gathered crowd of workers works hard to mine sand and stones from Kali Bebeng river near the village of Kepuharjo in the district Cangkringan, the dam that also serves as a bridge is completely clogged by new sediments. Eventually drains like these will be opened up again, but earning money is a higher priority, so the best sand some distance away is removed first.
