August 2006In crowded city areas like these, the little bit of green available is usually to be found on small balconies and verandas of the houses. Some people have the luck to have an overhanging balcony, so their upper floor is slightly larger than the floor below. This close to the canalized stream it's nice to have an upper floor. However the small wall is pretty high, one single heavy rainstorm can flood the area all of a sudden.
