27 May 2006Checking back on Gunung Merapi after a powerfull earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Richter scale hit central Java just before dawn this morning, leaving many dead and injured. The food stalls at Pakem are still in tact, clearly indicating that the most heavy damage is south of the city of Yogyakarta.
