About this picture
While the day had just started, we asked the hotel staff which way to go for a visit to Bromo. However it was the wet season, which is known for it's not-so-good weather at the higher altitude parts of the volcanoes, we still wanted to give it a try because we had never been so close and we wouln't probably be in the near future as well.
This small stream can be a devastating flow when rain comes down as you can see at the eroded rocks. The road over it has been built at some altitude from the high water mark, so the road doesn flood that often.
