29 December 2004Soldiers dump unknown dead bodies from Sunday's earthquake and tsunamis into a common mass grave in Banda Aceh. At least 32,490 people were killed in Indonesia, all on Sumatra island, the Health Ministry said Wednesday. It said this figure did not include districts on Sumatra's hard-hit western coast, meaning the final death toll will almost certainly rise significantly.
