About this picture
Bright red traditional shaped roofs of Torajan houses can be seen across Tana Toraja. It's not the color that makes it traditional, because these roofs come in all varieties, from bamboo to Dutch roof panes. The shape is what it makes so special. The roofs resemble upside down boats.
