About this picture
This is not the Yellow River in China, but a small branch of the mighty Sa'dan River which runs through Tana Toraja. After some heavy rainshowers in the area, the river is known to rise in a a very short time. Flashfloods occur here as well, causing the roads to be flooded or slopes to be washed away. The yellowish color is caused by erosion.
