Today, exactly two years ago, 202 people lost their lives in the most horrific terrorist attack since the World Trade Center on 11 September 2002. Bali remembers this day as a day of international awareness. Visitors from all over the world and also many Australians, the country lost over 80 reisdents in the bomb attack, were at the memorial service to remember their dead.
Names of all 202 victims are on this stone which is in the monument itself.\
At the ceremony itself flags of many countries of the world decorated the scene of the memorial, which is not at the very site of the explosions however.\

The current status of the actual spot where over 200 people were killed in two bomb blasts. The buildings around it have been rebuilt, only the site of the former Sari Club (SC) is still left empty.\
